Chile

Chile was another surprising gem of my journey. I remember when people were saying "this is only place on earth where you can go swim to the sea and later go to skiing at same day.  From capital Santiago de Chile to desert Atacama, such a unique beauty, incomparable to any other place on earth. I have seen so many spectacular, breathtaking places. Even my present there, feeling was indescribable. Special, unique compositions of atmosphere and position, just unforgettable. I will always remember San Pedro de Atacama. This was gateway to new South America adventures. Since this experience I couldn't stop discover more and more. I have decided to visit even places  I did not know nothing about, where are on the map. I just go.

Here are few facts:

 - Chile extends like a ribbon down the west coast of South America for over 4,000 kilometers—but averages only 150 kilometers wide. This elongated country, wedged between the deepest ocean and the longest mountain chain, straddles a tectonically unstable region. Mountains cover 80 percent of Chile.

- Tourism is a major business; a popular attraction is Easter Island, 3,700 kilometers west of Chile. Here one thousand moai (giant figures carved in stone) fascinate visitors to this small Polynesian island.

- Chile is one of the most stable and prosperous nations in South America.
